Refund policy
At Shilpkara, we take great care in packaging and delivering our handcrafted ceramic products. Customer satisfaction is important to us, and we offer a 7-day return policy under the following terms and conditions.
1. Return Eligibility
Customers may request a return within 7 days of receiving the product if:
- The item is damaged during transit
- The wrong product has been delivered
- The item received is defective or significantly different from the product ordered
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- Be unused and in original condition
- Include original packaging, labels, and accessories
- Be accompanied by proof of purchase/order confirmation
2. Non-Returnable Items
Due to the fragile and handcrafted nature of ceramic products, returns will not be accepted for:
- Minor variations in color, texture, finish, or handmade appearance
- Damage caused after delivery due to mishandling or improper use
- Products used, washed, or altered after delivery
- Return requests made after 7 days of delivery
- Clearance, customized, or made-to-order products (if applicable)
3. Damaged or Broken Items
If you receive a damaged or broken item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with:
- Order number
- Unboxing video of the package received
- Clear photos of:
- Damaged product
- Outer packaging
- Shipping label
Our team will review the claim and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
4. Return Process
To initiate a return:
- Contact our customer support team within the eligible return period
- Share your order details and reason for return
- Once approved, return instructions will be shared
Products returned without prior approval may not be accepted.
5. Refunds
After receiving and inspecting the returned product:
- Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method
- Refunds may take 5–10 business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider
- Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a damaged/wrong item
- For COD (Cash on Delivery) orders, the refund will be made only through Bank Transfer and will exclude the COD fee of Rs 49.
6. Replacement Policy
Where possible, we may offer a replacement instead of a refund for damaged or defective ceramic items.
